Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania Vacation: Shoebills, Gorilla Trekking, and Serengeti Safari
This Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania vacation allows you to see the elusive shoebills, go gorilla trekking, and witness the magic of the Serengeti.
This very special Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania Vacation was planned for a mother and daughter from Houston who had survived a very difficult year. They wanted a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife experience plus a little relaxation, so we sent them to see shoebills, gorillas and the Serengeti.
Their Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania Vacation began in Uganda for a sighting of the rare and unusual Shoebill.
Then they continued on to Rwanda, to the beautiful, mountainous landscape of Parc National des Volcans. They were transferred through Rwanda’s scenic mountains to the luxurious One&Only Gorilla Nest Lodge. The next day, they took the ultimate adventure: gorilla trekking in the rainforest. Their expert guide led them through the forest to a gorilla nesting site, where they were able to watch these rare creatures interact with each other up close. On their final day at Virunga, they took a day hike to the top of the Visoke volcano.
Continuing their Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania Vacation, they spent a few nights at a luxury hotel in Kigali, then transferred to a safari camp in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. During their stay at Singita Sasakwa. And were also able to see lions stalking their abundant prey. They enjoyed exciting game drives and bush walks to search for the Big 5. In between safari adventures, they indulged in relaxing spa treatments, scrumptious meals, and world-class wine at the lodge.
At last, their Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania Vacation came to an end. They were transferred to the airport to begin their journey home.
