Lewa Wilderness

Lewa Wilderness sits within one of Kenya’s major private conservation success stories; the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. 62,000 acres of varied African terrain, overlooked by the magnificent Mount Kenya, with as good a wildlife experience as anywhere else in Africa.

Lewa Wilderness is one of Kenya’s oldest private safari experiences and has been the Craig family home since 1972 where they proudly continue to entertain guests giving a truly unique and personal safari experience.

Lewa Wilderness is the hub of all activities on the Conservancy. From game drives to a stable yard of horses suitable for all abilities, there is a wide variety of ways for one to enjoy the wildlife. Guests can also camel ride, take a guided bush walk, visit the local community enhancement projects, and much more. They can even take to the skies in a scenic flight with Air Wilderness, exploring the varied terrain that Northern Kenya has to offer.
